US PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION REFORM

The newly elected U.S. President, Donald Trump, announced on November 12,
2024, that he is delighted to appoint Elon Musk as the head of the Department
of Government Efficiency ("DOGE"). Musk will assist them
administration in dismantling government bureaucracy, reducing excessive
regulations and expenditures, and restructuring federal agencies. "This
will shake up the system and everyone involved in government waste, which is a
lot of people!" said Musk, known for his straightforwardness.
Musk recently criticized U.S. space policy, particularly the Artemis
program. On Christmas 2024, he stated: "The Artemis architecture is
extremely inefficient because it’s a program that maximizes jobs, not results.
Something entirely new is needed."
In his statement, Donald Trump further clarified the goals: "This
will become the 'Manhattan Project' of our time. To drive this kind of drastic
change, the Department of Government Efficiency will team up with the White
House and the Office of Management and Budget to initiate large-scale
structural reform and create an unprecedented entrepreneurial approach to
government. Their work will be completed no later than July 4, 2026. A smaller
government, with greater efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect
gift to America on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. I
am confident they will succeed!"
For the first time in history, two entrepreneurs—one as the President of
the United States and the other as an advisor to the Office of Government
Efficiency—will join forces to launch a technological revolution in the public
sector of the world’s most powerful economic force.
